Our approach
Accessibility is part of how we design and test the public experience. We evaluate the implemented website and checker against WCAG 2.1 AA expectations and continue to improve them as the service changes.
Supported interaction patterns
- Keyboard-operable links, controls, and checker steps
- Visible focus states and semantic form labels
- Text-based progress, status, and validation feedback
- Responsive layouts with readable contrast
- Errors connected to the fields that need attention
Ongoing testing
Automated checks cover the major public routes and checker flow. Accessibility also depends on manual keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reflow, and touch testing, which is part of the production-readiness process.
